As an international student, studying at RMIT is an awesome experience for me. The educational methodology used in this major is very modern and effective.…
Basically we run studios with different theme and style on different type of media platforms like filmmaking, television, radio, audio, etc. All we've been doing throughout the semester is to make things as a whole big group. At the same time, reflections based on the making are also to be done. As a result, everyone is actively learning from time to time.
The tutors are usually very nice and patient. Every tutor has their own style of instructing which is fun as well. Usually they will inform us by emails if something occurs which is very responsible of them. If you ever have questions, just communicate with your tutor via email.
The campus is in the heart of Melbourne city which is a very convenient and conspicuous spot for you. And you can always wandering around city after uni.
The facility we used in this course is really wonderful. For media students, you can borrow any kind of equipments like sound recorder, camera, film camera, tripod, lights, etc from the equipment room on the first floor. There are also editing suites down in basements. You can find any media software there to edit your stuff. All of this is very beneficial and convenient for students.
To sum up, learning this course at RMIT is one of the best choices I ever made. Hope this is helpful and appealing to you!! :)
